Acer has announced a new portable projector, the PD1810, ahead of the COMPUTEX 2025 tradeshow. Acer will also sell a PD1810ic bundle that contains the PD1810 projector and a wireless video transmission dongle. It features 4K UHD resolution, vibrant colors, and immersive HDR10.
The PD1810 offers 1,000 lumens brightness utilizing an LED light engine rated with a 30,000-hour lifespan. It’s one cable connectivity via a USB Type-C port enables seamless display connectivity, allowing mobile devices such as phones, laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles to share high-quality video and multi-channel audio through a single cable.
It also boasts a 1.2–1.4x wider NTSC color gamut. HDR10 allows for expanded contrast and color, enhanced by scalar chip decoding, to deliver deeper blacks and brighter whites on the screen. The PD1810 also comes standard with Auto Keystone correction and adjusts the image both horizontally and vertically.
Built with gamers in mind, the PD1810 has an ultra-low latency that reduces frame delay to 4.2ms. It is expected to ship in the third quarter of 2025, just in time for the holiday season.
