Epson Europe has added two new high end professional home laser projectors, the EH-QS100W and EH-QS100B to its EH-Q Series. These join the EH-QB1000W/B, EH-QL3000W/B and EH-QL7000W/B lifestyle projectors which were announced in late 2024.
The new EH-QS100W (White), and EH-QS100B (Black), ultra-short-throw projectors incorporate Epson’s newest laser light source technology and 4K PRO-UHD resolution to deliver an optimal blend of brightness, image quality and versatility. The ultra-short-throw capabilities allow users to turn any area, from dedicated media spaces to well-lit living rooms, into a home cinema. The ability to place the projector just inches form the wall or screen eliminates shadows, and cables for the projector, audio and video equipment can all be easily tucked away out of sight.
The projectors are powered by advanced 3LCD laser technology to deliver high image quality with clear, sharp details and smooth fast-moving action. The image size of the EH-QS series is scaleable up to 160 inches. With 4,500 lumens image brightness and a high contrast ratio for deeper blacks, these new projectors are ideal for movies, sports and gaming.
With a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for well-defined shadows and even deeper blacks, these professional home projectors also feature a range of advanced image enhancement technologies, such as 4K frame interpolation to ensure smooth images, and super resolution to preserve detail in every scene.
With advanced features such as Dynamic Tone Mapping to enhance visual quality on a frame-by-frame basis, and HDR10+ for more vivid and lifelike colors, the new projectors deliver an outstanding viewing experience. Additional features include HDR10 support, 4K frame interpolation, 4K super resolution, scene adaptive gamma correction, auto contract enhancement, auto contrast enhancement and dynamic tone mapping.
Compatible with a wide range of IP control systems, the projectors can be integrated with existing installations and are fast and easy to set up, while its near-instant warm-up and cool-down times contribute to its outstanding convenience, energy-efficiency and long (20,000 hour) laser life. Plus, its integrated Crestron, Control4 and RS232C/wired LAN support means the EH-QS100W and EH-QS100B can be easily integrated into a Smart Home Network to give an even more convenient viewing experience.
The Epson Setting Assistant App is compatible with these new projectors so users can easily adjust the images after installation. The EH-QS100B/W began shipping earlier this month.
