Barco has expanded its G-Series projector line with the introduction of two new G62 models. They are built on the existing G60 platform and offer higher lumens and resolution. The G62-W9 offers a 9,000 lumens WUXGA output while the G62-W11 boosts this to 11,000 lumens. These improvements make the new G62 models ideal for museums, tourist attractions, theme parks, board rooms and auditoriums.
Upgrades to these models also include higher bandwidth and upgraded input support – HDMI2.0 and 3D SYNC – the new additions are now compatible with 4K input sources and provide HD 3D stereo capabilities. The G2 models will also be available in both black and a fully white chassis. In addition, the G62s bring enhanced and OSD embedded warping and blending capabilities, which make them well-suited to be used in networked projector situations with a multi-channel set-up. In addition, an improved interface enables user-friendly operation and allows for efficient workflows.
Finally, the new G62 projectors are compatible with Barco’s existing G-series short-throw lenses, making them very installation friendly for a wide range of projects.
